But with such a large database and with the site growing in numbers almost daily, you may well ask – how do we manage to do this and yet membership is still free?

You will notice that there are many opportunities to advertise your business throughout BarterBrighton, via the right-hand sidebar on all pages.

The Advertising Explained

The advertising opportunities throughout BarterBrighton pages are almost unlimited.

As more and more businesses submit their profiles, it makes great sense for you to have your business advertised in the most appropriate places, where the exposure to your business is highlighted in the most beneficial way.

For instance, say you are looking for a plumber to barter with and you do a search via one of the search options listed. You will most likely end up on the page with a list of the plumbers available on the site. So if you are a plumber and you are just one of many in the ever-increasing lists of businesses available, obviously, it makes sense for you to have an advert in the sidebar on that page. As any market analyst will tell you, an advert’s visual impact in attracting business is never to be underestimated. Think about how you are attracted to businesses yourself – do you search through a long list one by one, or do you sometimes find it easier to just go for the easy option and look at those with the clear advertising staring you in the face?

By now you will be thinking – this all sounds very dandy – but what about the cost involved?

That is why they are listed at a Premium price. Likewise, the Individual Profile Display Page has only 10 adverts on display at any given time.

So, the most expensive advert for a full one year subscription will cost £420.00 and our lowest yearly subscription is just £120.00.
